OpenAI ends NDAs as Russia orders data center reserves
OpenAI pledged to stop using non-disclosure agreements with public officials on data center projects, after midterm voters opposed expansion. The Samsung Galaxy S27, model SM-S952B/DS, has been approved by India's Bureau of Indian Standards, making it the first member of the S27 family to receive that certification. The listing did not disclose specifications, but earlier database entries linked the model to a 6.3-inch screen, Exynos 2700 chipset, 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Chinese certification also indicated 25W wired charging, the same speed as the Galaxy S26.
Russian data centers ordered to reserve 10% capacity for state
Russian President Vladimir Putin has directed private data centers to set aside 10 percent of their computing capacity for government use. The directive follows recent Ukrainian strikes on Yandex data centers that disrupted domestic cloud services.

LG faces Portuguese legal action over smart TV spying
Portugal's consumer association Citizens Voice is asking courts to review LG's statement about a report alleging 216,000 spy TVs, seeking to pull some smart TVs from sale or update others to protect privacy. The group says LG's statement did not directly explain tests involving audio storage when TVs were offline or named webOS security vulnerabilities. US researchers found that multiple smart TV makers' privacy opt-outs did not fully work.
